How do I deal with the suspense of getting a phone?

Well first, my phone broke and I need a new one. I am really excited about it so I asked my dad when we could go get another one a lot of times. Then I was talking about what was wrong with my phone and he said he didn’t want to here it. Now I don’t know when we are going to go or even if he forgot. What should I do?
