Surprisingly, Fritz Leiber autographs are few and far between. A prolific writer of science fiction and fantasy, most of Leiber’s autographs are found on his books; rarely on letters or documents. The senior Fritz Leiber lived from 1882 to 1949 and was renown as a Shakespearian actor who also directed and produced numerous plays. As a result, Fritz Leiber autographs have been preserved for researchers and other biographers.
Leiber died in September 1992, just a few weeks after attending a science fiction convention with his wife Margo Skinner in London, Ontario, Canada. Fritz Leiber autographs from his last public appearance have nostalgic appeal.
