Far Side

who knows how to fix the cord and pulley on blinds when someone has pulled one side too far and now wont open?

One of my kids pulled open the blinds too far and now the other knob is at the top and it will not open. It is hard to explain, and I do not know how they did it, but has anyone had this happen? It is very aggrevating. To get them to open, you need to pull the side that is already pulled all the way down. argh!

On the top part of the thing where the cord goes in ,,,at least on mine,,,there is like a plastic locking thing that jams against the cord to hold it there,,,so the blind does not fall,,,use an ice pick to force that lock to tilt away from the cord and it will let you pull the cord out. Thats what I had to do on mine already…..good luck.
