Can you swim in crescent city ca in april?

I will be in crescent city California in the beginning of April. I would like to know if anyone was able to go in the ocean. What are the beaches like? Anyone spend rime hiking in the redwoods?

the ocean at crescent city california in april is cold. i don’t recommend swimming without a wet suit. the beaches are nice because there aren’t a lot of people out there. i love going to the beach in the winter and early spring because me and my dog usually have it all to ourselves

it doesn’t matter what time of year it is. hiking in the coastal redwoods is always worth it. it doesn’t take much either. park your car on the road just about anywhere and go for a walk. just make sure you can find your way back

more than once i have come back to the road and my car wasn’t there. luckily i usually found it under 30 minutes
